#HomeBakerMatters is an all-day Conference for home bakers and baking enthusiasts organized by The Food Bloggers Association of India (FBAI). Taking place on Sunday, 7th October, 2018 – there is a power packed day planned with a mix of individual speakers and panel discussions covering topics like Keto and gluten free baking, global baking trends, making home baking a business, kitchen hygiene, baking with Indian ingredients, say no to refined sugar, all things chocolate and more. There will also be discussions on how to evolve home baking into a business, positioning and opportunities.

HomeBakerMatters also features a jugalbandi with the Pastry chef of the hotel where 6 home bakers will collaborate with him in the hotel kitchen to dish out their own creations, to be served on the day of the conference.



The Speaker list includes various bakers from Bangalore like Jeyadra Vijayselvan, Monika Manchanda and Priyanka Gandhi Mehta. Industry experts like Chef Abhijit Saha and Chef Sabyasachi Gorai would be doing talks as well. The jugalbandi exercise was spearheaded by Chef Dhawal Ajmera from ITC Welcom Hotel. Health coach – Mariam Begg speaks about how chocolate is great. While interesting panels are lined up to discuss home baking evolving to businesses, and global baking trends.



Networking with fellow bakers and experts from the industry during the HomeBakerMatters conference, tea and lunch will encourage sharing of ideas, discussing industry baking trends and making invaluable connections. A Bake-off activity post lunch with attendees attending would be a competition of skill and innovation with winners getting some fun prizes. A lot more will ensure participants have an engaging and fun Baking Sunday.
