To be honest, I have been waiting for Hilton EGL to launch their Sunday Brunch from quite a few months now. Every nice place with a lavish brunch was at least 20 km from our side of town, and the tremendous commute and traffic usually tires the appetite. Well, was the wait worth it? Most definitely! A spread that spanned across 2 restaurants, a gorgeous pool side, delectable offerings of appetizers across the world – and many, many more delightful food on the spread, this one is really unmissable.

Backing up a bit, we reached the brunch at around 1pm, to see the place full and buzzing. Ministry of Food is the indoor seating section, featuring several Indian and Asian food, chaat counter and wraps etc. A duo band, carvings and grills, live counters of snacks were in the outdoor section – even the hot, bright sun didn’t deter us from sitting by the pool at Salt! There’s play area and activities for kids, interactive cooking stations and freshly made nitrogen ice-creams which I couldn’t get enough of. The cocktails were creative and tropical for the early onset of warmth even in January!

Things absolutely not to miss: Quiche – both vegetarian and chicken were delicious. The meats and chaats were very nice and fresh. The ice cream is a must try, as are the cocktails! And then there were the Watermelon Jello Shots!

Available on Sundays, the brunch is priced at 1499++ for a non alcohol package, 1999++ for alcohol and 749++ for kids. I would strongly recommend getting a reservation, call +91 7353759820. This is perfect for a long afternoon of being lazy, eating some great food, sipping on some delicious concoctions, and letting your hair loose!
